DAOM August 18, 19, 20, 21: Auricular Therapy Systems.Aug 18 2022
A note from Professor Corbin, lecturing the class:
The course Modern Modalities is based on my education and clinical experience integrating the most effective therapies in western healthcare settings. Most of the education came from the German Acupuncture organizations I was fortunate to study from. Clinically I believe the courses will help to allow participants to choose what aspect they may integrate into their practices.
The German Auricular system will show individuals the philosophy and diagnostically effectiveness of auricular therapy systems. It is economically the most effective system when initiating an Integrative Medical Clinic. Laser therapy will help individuals to decide whether integrating lasers into an acupuncture clinic will benefit “needle phobic” patients. Electro Acupuncture will point out the philosophies of both Eastern and Western electromedicine with different aspects of importance. Finally, the course will conclude with Vagas Nerve Stimulation. It is my hope that those interested in this field look into guidelines for its safe effective use. I believe it to be the most exciting bridge between eastern and western healthcare.
Objectives: Participants will gain knowledge on the various therapies but also decide whether one or more of the healing systems is something the practitioner wants to pursue.
The different philosophies will be discussed and differences between western and eastern electro medicine will taught. This will give practitioners a firm guide on which of the systems best suits their clinical needs.
Research as well as my own 25 years of clinical experience will help to define whether clinicians want to begin further education on the modalities. State Laws for their practice will be up to the individual clinicians.
Here is hoping you find the class as a great starting point for further study on the subject matter.
