October DAOM BIO

Dr. Harry Hong was trained in China as a medical doctor specializing in traditional Chinese medicine. He practiced Chinese medicine in Peking Union Hospital in Beijing, China, before coming to the States in 1989. He received his MS in molecular biology from the University of Idaho and his PhD in biochemistry from the Medical College of Ohio. He did postdoctoral research at the National Institute of Health and at the Medical Center of the University of Illinois at Chicago. Dr. Hong has been practicing holistic medicine for more than 20 years in Chicago and south Florida. He specializes in treating patients with autism, allergy and sensitivities, adrenal fatigue syndrome and autoimmune conditions with functional medicine, Chinese herbs, homeopathy, and nutrition. He also teaches DAOM program in Atlantic Institute of Oriental Medicine in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida.
