“After attending ATOM, I was very pleased to see that their DAOM program is run and taught by renowned Chinese professors with expertise in their respective fields. ATOM has given me the opportunity to obtain the education and clinical knowledge of techniques used in modern day China. Through this program, I am able to achieve a higher level of understanding in acupuncture and Oriental Medicine and apply it to my practice with greater success. ”

“Each month we have been afforded the opportunity to spend four days with teachers and clinicians not only of stature within their specialty in Chinese Medicine but they have been generously willing to share what they understand about the practice of Chinese Medicine. Each instructor has been genuinely committed to improving the clinical level of practice of Chinese Medicine here in the United States.”
Kevin Clark, A.P., Florida
“As the first clinical doctorate program of its kind on the East Coast and only theninth in the country, I feel blessed to have this outstanding program right in my“backyard”. While the benefits are too numerous, a few of them include:
- disciplines. Many of these instructors travel across the globe from China to immerse us in their knowledge and expertise so that we can get as much as possible out of every module.
- serve my patients—and grow my practice—while participating in the DAOM program, and ATOM’s schedule enables me to do both.”

“It’s wonderful to gain this new knowledge and learn from the experience and wisdom of these honored lecturers ATOM has provided for us. ATOM goes above and beyond to accommodate their students. I’m very happy to be in the DAOM program.”
Cecilia Shaw, DOM, Florida
I Graduated from the Atlantic Institute of Oriental Medicine (ATOM) in 2006 and I started practicing immediately in Boca Raton and Delray Beach.
I have since spent 7 years as the Sports Medicine Acupuncture Physician on the Medical Team for the National Hockey League (NHL) Florida Panthers and the past 2 years on the Medical Team of the Blackzilians, a Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) and Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) Fight Team in Boca Raton, Florida. Having trained in Shanghai, China with Acupuncture at Yueyang and Shuguang Hospitals I was questioning the practicality and the clinical use and benefits of pursuing the Doctor of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine Doctorate (DAOM) program.
I am delighted that I pursued this experience. Having esteemed experts from all over the world come to ATOM presenting various skills so I can take back to the clinic to apply to patients for immediate results.
I highly recommend the DAOM experience at ATOM and can attest to its benefits.
